So.... "System i" is the term for a whole series of product lines.And "iSeries" isn't. And "i5" is the current product line name, which is a whole line of products, but not a series of product lines.
Do they have a whole committee of people who sit down and think "how can we name our products in the most confusing possible way?". I can't imagine that you could "just come up" with something this confusing. It must've required the efforts of many people working dilligently to keep adding more and more confusion.
