 Hi Michael,  A question is why does it have to be the primary session of 
device (not a SYS REQ and not a Group Job).  If it is because of messaging, the 
submitting job will still get the messages.  If it is because the interactive 
job is performing a ENDSBS *ALL, you can monitor it and not allow any process 
if the ENDSBS *ALL ends in error.Typically the only check I have done is 
ensuring that the device is the console (equal to value in system value 
QCONSOLE) and exit out of the program if the ENDSBS *ALL ends in error. Is 
there some other requirement? Joe Kempenich
