I tried to reply with this solution on Friday but sent it with the wrong email address. But I thought I'll give it another try. Easy solution for me... <<<<< I don't know how to do that with the OVRPRTF, but I have used program to system fields using an AFPDS printer file. You can also just hard code it in the printer file to have a pointsize of 11. A TEXT 100 POSITION(&FRMTOP &FRMLEFT) A FNTCHRSET(*LIBL/&TXTFONT T1L0PCHN + A (*POINTSIZE &TXTSIZE)) A FRMLEFT 5S 3P A FRMTOP 5S 3P A TXTFONT 8A P A TXTSIZE 4S 1P Hope this helps. >>>>> I set this up so that I can print the TEXT field anywhere on the piece of paper. You specify that by populating FRMTOP and FRMLEFT in the RPGLE. There's no need for the SPACEA or SPACEB. Also, I have used POINTSIZE 11 before. Use WRKFNTRSC to view your type of fonts. Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> This weekend was EOM so I been a bit out of touch, so sorry if I am duplicating some other answer. We also had stuff down, but it turned out not to be VPN but our T1 line, which PC guy showed me how to verify using PING.. We solved a FONT problem on one printer by adjusting the width of the form ... apparently the PC printer was second guessing the host instructions, saying "I not have room for all this stuff" so FONT came from what would fit, and how much was being sent, so we adjusted how much printing sideways, to force the math. >0, Henza, Guy wrote: > > Bob, > > > > I feel your pain.
