GO DISKTASK is just not going to tell you what did the damage and when. I 
highly recommend that you take a look at disk/HUNTER at 
www.centerfieldtechnology.com - this is an application that can tell you what 
is the likely culprit that caused the increased disk usage, immediately. It 
checks disk free space every 15 seconds and, when that free space is reduced by 
an amount you set, it tries to determine what comprises the additional disk 
usage. The 15-second checks are barely a blip on the performance meter.

This product can tell you there is a problem, long before you hit the deadly 
90-95% thresholds that can shut you down. You can even run a command in the 
product twice over a short period, to see what is going on.

I do not work there (anymore) - I was the one who wrote most of this product, 
however. I don't have anything directly to do with them, but this is a good 
product, and good people.
