Hi, try the following: 1. Create a Data Area QQUPRFOPTS in the library QGPL or any other library that is in your library list as follows: CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QGPL/QQUPRFOPTS) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(80) TEXT('Query/400 User Profile Options') AUT(*USE) 2. Change the Data Area as follows: CHGDTAARA DTAARA(QGPL/QQUPRFOPTS (56 20)) VALUE(' 100000 1000 3 ') If you now create a table with Query/400, this data area gets checked. The initial size of table generated with Query/400 is now fixed to 100,000 records. It can be incremented 3 times with 1,000 records . For more information look at: Query Enhancements Implemented Using Special Data Areas http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/726aa5f42c7f6342862565c2007cf1ef? Februar 2006 09:27 An: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Betreff: Max size of QQRYOUT When you create a file using CRTPF, there is a default SIZE(200000 30000 10). But when you use WRKQRY to create QQRYOUT (or whatever you name it) there is a SIZE(*NOMAX). Is there a way to control the max size of outfile from query? --------------------------------------------------------- This mail was sent through DMZ|HOUSE Eoffice: http://www.eoffice.dk
