Oh, and this probably goes without saying for large shops (I was at one at my previous employer and we had a Toshiba UPS that was twice the size of a large upright freezer and then the battery rack was that size again, "laying down") but make sure you have a bypass switch installed too. Ran into that right after I got here and before the AS/400 (at the time) was live. The UPS died and there was no way to plug the AS/400 into a normal outlet...
