I would try input redirection. Create a text file with two lines in it that match your answers, name it inputfile LAWSRC8D LAWPGM8D then run the program thusly perl $GENDIR/bin/appinstall81.pl 8.1.0.1_patch_150576.tar < inputfile The program should then receive it's input from the file, rather than the keyboard.
