Option 5662-EWA - Is it worthwhile?

Hi All,

 

We're in the middle of getting quotes back for our new 520E machine and
one of the options recommended by IBM is option 5662-EWA which is the
Enterprise Workload Management engine.

 

I did a bit of investigating, but I couldn't get a clear understanding
as to the true purpose of this option.  Can someone give me an idea on
how this option is used?  Furthermore, would it be useful in our company
that uses a single iSeries machine and not a Server farm of i5s?
