Thanks, Paul, for the recommendation. I'd love to sell a copy of RPG2SQL, but 
if it is DB2 on a Windows box, it should be possible to use DRDA. Esp. as the 
original poster can connect in interactive SQL.

So obviously the RDBDIR entry is there. There are statements like SET 
CONNECTION, etc., that need to be done in the SQLRPGLE program. There should be 
instructions in some manual, like distributed database programming or some 
such. There is some setup stuff to do in a program.

Perhaps the person should just call IBM - gotta have SupportLine, of course.
