9406/520-7453 16GB RAM and 12 x 6718 18GB drives + 15 x 4326 36GB Drive all Raid 5 for a net total of 632.6 GB storage at about 88% full. We also have two 170's that are dedicated to our online transaction processing application for retail POS. Fully real time mirrored with our 520 acting as the control point. Then I have an 820 we purchased used to replace on of the 170's but just idling for now. Then a really old 9406-400 that I run my personal e-mail domain on. Just playing with it for now. Hey I have a 9402-200, the first black box from IBM that have V3R1 and still boots up. To big for my little ski boat so just sitting in storage. Hi All, I was just curious what your shop is running in terms of iSeries equipment? Right now, we are running a 9402-720 2GB MS/175GB DASD as our primary box with a 9406-720 (same config) running as our DRP box. We are looking to upgrade to a 520E/1000 4GB MS/210 DASD within the next few months.
