Several possibilities: 1. End the subsystem (ie: qinter) that users work in prior to EOD. No subsystem means they can't work. Be sure to make a separate subsystem you can work in (ie: ITINTER) when qinter is down. --or-- 2. Write initial job CL for their user profile to check a data area "LOCKOUT" prior to allowing access. Prior to EOD (7:00pm) end the subsystem they work in and modify/delete the "LOCKOUT" data area to keep them out until you are done.
