CPF327E: Alternative name for file &1 not allowed - CRTDDMF

I get the following error when I tried to create a DDMF using the
Command CRTDDMF

Error Details

Message ID: CPF327E
Message Text: Alternative name for file DDMF123 not allowed. The
operation was not done for reason code 3.

And the text for reason code 3 is

"  3 - The alternative name could not be verified as a duplicate of
other
file's alternative names in library LIBRARY1 because of problems with
the
system cross reference files"

I executed the following command and the system threw the above error
message,

CRTDDMF FILE(LIBRARY1/DDMF123) RMTFILE(RMTLIB2/TESTFILE1)
RMTLOCNAME(RMTLOC *SNA)  

I searched through the net and found that RCLSTG(*DBXREF) is the only
way to rectify this error. Is there any other simple way of resolving
this issue, as RCLSTG can't be done that easily (At least by programmers
like me)?
