What is the total record length of the file? Does it still seem that significant to have another 2 bytes? I have nearly 1 TB of disk on my desktop PC. Numbers like 1.4GB just don't seem significant anymore, even with the price of i5/iSeries/as400 disk. JMHO, Doug
