Wouldn't the ?NNTP? time client on the i5 use the offset of it's system value and compare that to the NNTP server it accesses? Doesn't the NNTP server send some sort of offset, or an assumption of some standard offset like GMT, and not just a series of digits indicating a time stamp and that if you use a NNTP server at location xyz then you have to just know what time zone location xyz is on?
