Well, I for one would not believe one word from them......... "Douglas W. We always welcome hearing from people in the iSeries community even when they disagree with us. We are, however, always interested in reporting on factually correct information. If there is a factual error that has been made, please let us know what is. We will investigate it and if we find it is inaccurate, we will gladly retract it. I must share with you that it seems that California Software has gotten a "bad rap" for wishing to dismantle the iSeries community and that is simply not true. We love the AS/400 environment, it's why we believe it should have the ability to operate on other platforms and with other databases and have created the ability to do just that. We feel that the future of the environment and the applications developed within it have a stronger future with the freedom to run on Linux, Windows or Unix platforms, IN ADDITION to the i5. Whether you agree with us or not, we are still pleased to hear from you."
