And what, if any, member type would flag that -- as a comment in WDSC's
lpex editor? I'd like to see the color change to have that stick out.

RE: Comment in SQL Source

Well, I must have typed something wrong. Thanks. And -- is line based in
RUNSQLSTM which I like. It let's me do this:

create table Document (
ID int not null as identity,
        TemplateID int not null,
        MRN numeric(6,0) not null,
        VisitID int,
        Document clob(16M),
DocumentStatus char(1) not null default 'D',
foreign key (TemplateID) references Template (ID),
--foreign key (VisitID) references Visit (ID),
        check (DocumentStatus in ('D', 'F')), --Draft,Final
        Primary Key (ID)
        )

Where I'm not ready to add the FK constraint but I can leave it in the
source code.

All,

I've got a brain block. How do I tell the SQL processor (RUNSQLSTM or
STRSQL or OpsNav) that a line is a comment and not for
computer-consumption? I'm not talking about the set comment on
statement, but more like an * after the C in RPG.

I was thinking it was either // or -- but neither seem to work.
