I have used the QDBRTVFD API to get (programatically) most of the data that is presented in the DSPFD screens. However, there is one field I have just not been able to find in the API (not the easiest thing to wade through). That is the field shown under the BASED ON section when the file in question is a logical. In addition to the based on physical, library, and format name, it also shows the field "Number of Index Entries". When the logical has Select/Omit criteria, the number is a subset of the number of records in the physical file.

Does anyone know where this field is located in the formats in the QDBRTVFD API or is it coming from somewhere else?
