Brian,
I'm not 100% sure but I'm assuming that 5769AS1 is an earlier version of
WAS - something like V2.........Installed way back when and never
removed....
Your software requirements seem a bit odd if they are asking for Express,
Base, and Network Deploy. Express is essentially free - well assuming you
have the Enterprise Version license (someone can correct me on that). But
you will have to pay for 6.0 ND. But I would strongly suggest you view
your software requirements - Express covers a lot of functionality and in a
lot of cases should be all you should need.

Hi All,
Can someone tell me if the Websphere Application Server license is part
of a standard s/w licensing agreement from IBM, or does it cost extra?
I see in our licensed programs I have include:
5769AS1 *INSTALLED IBM WebSphere Application Server
5722WDS *COMPATIBLE WebSphere Development ToolSet
But one of the guides I am following requests this software:
5733-W60 *BASE WebSphere Application Server for OS/400 V6
5733-W60 1 WebSphere Application Server V6 Express
5733-W60 2 WebSphere Application Server V6 (Base)
5733-W60 3 WebSphere Application Server V6 Network Deployment
I'm guessing I need to call IBM's entitlement group to see if I am
licensed for it, correct?
Thanks,
Brian.
