We've got one of the extended battery cabinets one 1 of our 2 locations that powers all the switches and net gear along with the iSeries boxes. Heading out soon, so no time to check the model... but i'm thinking it's a 9150? At one point I noticed that they had some specific iSeries oriented models in partnership with IBM, but i'm not sure if that still exists or not. We use a 3rd party vendor for assistance and maintenance of the units (Battery Systems). I looked at the Powerware UPS's. I couldn't make a decision from the information on the web site so I called them. Tech support wasn't sure of a number of questions so I gave up on them. What model did you get? Did you get one or more EBM's (External Battery Module) Thank you, Gary Kuznitz > "Gary Kuznitz" > <docfxit@theoffic > e.la> To > Sent by: Midrange Systems Technical > midrange-l-bounce Discussion > s@xxxxxxxxxxxx <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > cc > > 01/13/2006 01:41 Subject PM > RE: Suggestions for a UPS > > > Please respond to > Midrange Systems > Technical > Discussion > <midrange-l@midra > nge.com> > > > > > > > Does this mean that no one else uses a UPS? > > Surly someone must. > > Thank you, > > Gary Kuznitz > > On 12 Jan 2006 at 21:12, Joe (Joe Pluta <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx>) > commented about RE: Suggestions for a UPS: > > > I am no expert, but I highly recommend the Tripp products.
