I did exactly that same thing.  I wanted to know because I want to do
that again at the next COMMON I manage to get to.

Sure does...that's how I got my first and only certification...I left a
session cause it was misadvertised, wandered by the certification room,
went in and now I'm a certified advanced rpg developer or something.
