That's fine if you can do this outside a program. In a program there are APIs for finding all the locks, and this might be important in real-time use. Of course, the question then arises - what to do about it? Loop and wait until it clears, loop a few times and kill the offending job, loop a few times and notify the offending job, etc.

There also might be info in the 2nd level text of the messages on who is holding the lock.
