Several possible alternatives exist. You really need to look at the QTFTP* jobs in the QSYSWRK subsystem. Possibilities include: - ftp exit point that does not allow someone to create files, or access a particular directory/library - security to that library - MAXSTG for that user has been reached. - script assumes that all systems are configured alike. A put may assume it's going to a directory, while one lpar is configured to default to library, and, the current library for that user is different than default of QGPL - etc Rob Berendt
