User profile- invalid signon attempts.

I have a user profile that we use only(as far as I know) for running job
scheduler jobs.  This profile is marked as disabled and password none.  
My boss noticed recently the value 'Sign-on attempts not valid' has
entries in it and is growing.  He added a password, signed on, removed
the password so that we could reset the value to 0.  We are now back up
to a 7.    

I'm trying to figure out what is causing this to occur.  I have done a
DSPAUDJRNE PW, however, I don't get any entries for this profile.   
I've looked in QHST also. 

Where might I be able to find what is causing this.  

This profile gets used everynight in the job scheduler running at least
10 jobs, so I know its not just occuring everytime a job is run from the
scheduler.
