Hi DaveI can't remember what functions were supported in ops nav back back then so I don't know if that's your issue, however, as it has to do with Java [here comes something of a guess] I would check what java versions and PTF's are installed on the machine (look in the licensed programs)
Other than that it would be a service call or a browse through the technical libraries (if it's a service call hopefully you know your local IBM-er)
Hope this gives you somewhere to start anyway Regards Evan Harris At 12:19 p.m. 31/12/2005, you wrote:
I am running iSeries Navigator v5r3. I have several older v4r5 boxes that are all exhibiting the same issue. When I connect to these machines and go to Work Management, Output Queues and try to look at the contents of a queue, I get an error message: An unexpected error occurred. Check the iSeries Access java trace log for additional information. Syntax error occurred. I can click on Output Queues and see all the queues listed and how many files, but once I click on one of the queues, it fails. I applied a relatively recent PTF and installed the Iseries Nav update to the PC, but still no luck. Any thoughts? ******************************************************** Go... FASTER!
