Bruce, Take a look at RUNRMTCMD. You'd need the REXEC server started on the remote host (STRTCPSVR SERVER(*REXEC)). Note that REXEC is basically a one-way transaction. You can't get direct feedback from your remotely executed command. If you need to be able to CALL a program, and send/receive parameters across systems, you'll have to use SQL's CALL command along with a "CONNECT TO" command. Other alternatives..... SBMRMTCMD will make use of DDM connections....
