Yes, there are newer clients that are in fact compatible with WindowsXP. However, you're somewhat tied to the OS400 release that is on your host. The client you have seems to be from OS400 V4R4, which is several years out of service. If your as400 was upgraded to V5, you should have been shipped new client software.
