× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

IBM's support is not a problem as this drive is a spare that we have at
our corporate office and the 170 is a remote location and will be
replaced with another model the first part of next year.

3490's are dying so you'll likely have issues with the drives rather 
than the connection . IBM Is telling customers that some 3490 parts are 
'built only on demand.'  Connecting the drive to the FC #2729 and making

it work though is a piece of cake and it should work fine.
