superseded PTFs -- MIDRANGE-L

Probably very stupid question:

Let's say prduct A (e.g. WDSC 6) asks for a particular PTF (e.g *SI18710*)
to be installed.
I check that PTF on Fixes Central, and I see that that particular fix has
ben superseded by a newer (*SI19004*) which in turn has been superseded as
well by *SI20223*.

Installing the newest PTF (*SI20223**)* means that I don't need to install *
SI18710*, right? Or I have to install the whole PTF chain?
