. RE: COMMON in Minneapolis - affordable hotels..

The last time COMMON was in Minne, I stayed with my daughter in Eagan.  (Ten 
minutes past the mall).  It took me 30-35 minutes to get to the convention 
center.  There is parking right next door which, if I remember correctly, cost 
$12 for the day.  

I might be too used to Chicago, but I thought the commute was a breeze and the 
parking cheap.  

The only problem is the Norwegians are too polite.  I almost rear-ended a 
couple people who slammed on their brakes in order to let someone in.  On a 
side street that may be okay, but on I94?
