Just a follow-up for anyone who might have read my earlier post. We have determined that our slowdowns were not a result of C5298530. -Marty -----Original Message----- From: Urbanek, Marty Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2005 12:34 AM To: 'midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: RE: C5298530 slowdowns? C5298530 came out November 7. PSP doc SF99088 tells of a defective PTF SI10707, which was applied as part of the cume. I have applied the fixing PTF SI20720, an am hoping that will help. Note: I am still not sure it was the cume that is causing our slowdown. I always check the PE section of SF98530 before applying a cume, but I don't usually check SF99088. Apparently a "PTF in Error" is not the same as a "Defective PTF" because the PE section of SF98530 contains no entries. -Marty ------------------------------ date: Wed, 16 Nov 2005 15:19:12 -0800 from: "Chris Bipes" <chris.bipes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> subject: RE: C5298530 slowdowns? Well we are at Hiper 64, DB 6, but Cume of C5207530. I did not know a new cume was available. When was 5298 released? Chris Bipes Information Services Director CrossCheck, Inc.
