It just goes straight from start to finish, does not pass GO, does not collect $200. It does create a logical file that the OPNQRYF is based on but that's not submitted just another line in the CL so that shouldn't be a problem. I've created programs that use OPNQRYF once or twice myself and didn't need a DLYJOB. Still, I'm no big expert on OPNQRYF and thought that it wouldn't hurt to get some opionions before I start making changes.
