Michael,

Any chance that FTP is timing out?  CHGFTPA has the timeout parm, that
determines when the server will disconnect a client that appears to be
inactive.  What do you see in your FTP session log when these xfers fail?

Looking for suggestions...

I need a process that will transfer a file from a PC (server) to an iSeries.
I'll need to probably invoke the program from the PC as I need to do other
work to prepare the file. I'll then need to transfer the file to the iSeries
(replacing an existing file) and then call a processing program. This is to
replace an existing process that uses FTP and has worked flawlessly and now
fails every 10th time or so...and is driving me up a wall.

All ideas are welcome.
