I new someone that had a program print a qrydfn for each query in a library search the definitions for file names and other dependencies and write those to a file. Sorry I don't have the source any more, just an idea. I think he did it with the prtdfn option of the runqry command. This of course would require you to run the query again (and every other query to find it). I think he also overrode it to a Spool File so it wouldn't write to the file again. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of phil Kestenbaum Sent: Monday, October 31, 2005 4:13 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: Determine name of query that created data file You can only get the user who created, date-time. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Erin Botkin Sent: Monday, October 31, 2005 4:32 PM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Determine name of query that created data file Does anyone know who to determine the name of a query that created a data file?
