Rob - not sure if this is the case for you, but early-run 570's had a
"fake" attention light next to the power button - that's actually not
the 570's attention light, it's the really really dim amber light behind
the smoked plastic on the upper-right corner of the front panel.  There
should be an attention icon next to it.  Look to the right of the CD-ROM
drive.  You may even have to take the cover off to see it. 

The attention light on the 520 and 550 is immediately next to the power
light and is like staring in to the sun.  The 570 is in the upper-right
of the CEC as mentioned above, and the 595 it is directly above the EPO
switch.  Later-run 570's shouuldn't have the attention light hole by the
power button anymore.

If you use your HMC to do a lamp test of your 570 can you get your
attention light to work?  We can't.  We'll probably get that replaced
during our December scheduled downtime.
