Rob, Not sure about the autoconfig stuff but HPR is also related to SNA if my memory serves me correctly. rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: midrange-l-bounce To s@xxxxxxxxxxxx midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc 10/24/2005 10:06 Subject AM LANLIUSR Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> On one box I have two lan lines. A 1GB line reserved for TCP/IP. And a 10/100 used for SNA. On the TCP line I see Description Status LANLINSYS ACTIVE LANLINET00 ACTIVE LANLITCP00 ACTIVE LANLIUSR VARIED OFF When I try to vary it on I get CPDB157-Device LANLIUSR configuration not valid. Reason code 2320. --2320: The device LANLIUSR can not be varied on because the associated Ethernet line description specifies a hardware resource (RSRCNAME) parameter that only supports TCP/IP. LANLIUSR is auto configured. If I delete it it recreates itself. I thought it might have been because of ----Source Service Access Points----- SSAP Maximum Frame Type 04 1496 *SNA 06 1496 *NONSNA AA 1496 *NONSNA DC 1496 *NONSNA C8 1496 *HPR 12 1496 *NONSNA 16 1496 *NONSNA 1A 1496 *NONSNA But I dropped the 04 and it still autoconfigs.
