I concur on ethereal ... unfortunately this is on a customers box ... so I can't specify what tools they use unless they are built in. We've verified that the traffic is being received by the remote box, and the remote is sending a response ... but we can't verify that the response is being received by the iSeries. It's clearly not being received by the iSeries application that's doing the socket read. I'm not entirely sure a trace on the iSeries will help ... but it's better than nothing. Thanks all! david
