I can only speak for myself, but our reasoning was RPG, nothing more and
nothing less; of course since that time we are looking at using Bob's
RPGIV tools to augment the existing systems.

Would like to know what applications and systems were leading the charge
in the increased sales. Linux apps running in Linux partitions? Java
client/server apps? Websphere? or traditional RPG native stuff?

If it is the RPG apps then is anyone at IBM aware that the RPG/CL side
of the house has been seriously neglected? If the RPG stuff is not
selling, then sure, let it fade away. Otherwise people have to speak up
for their side of the platform.
