I tried using iSeries Navigator. I right clicked on the system name and selected Application Administration. However the granularity only went down to whether or not they can use 5250 emulation. Not whether or not they can customize their session settings. In the past I used to do things like rename the command CRTDEVDSP. That particular version of Client Access (or whatever) actually ran this under the covers to create a new 5250 session, and renaming the command was quite successful in stopping them. But when the system console died and was replaced with a different model I found out that autoconfig uses the same command and until I submitted a remote command to rename the command CRTDEVDSP back we couldn't get a 5250 session at all. The boss put the leash on renaming that again. Rob Berendt
