2. Which IBM device # supports both color and 27x132 screens?

A 3477FC or a 3487HC will support both color and 132-column. So far as I know, the only graphics-capable 5250 terminals that also have 132-column support and graphics capability are 3489s, and there seems to be very little software that actually uses that graphics capability, mostly connected with some sort of fax server.

Normally, "normal" translates to green, "highlight" to white, "blink" to red, "highlight/blink" to blinking red, "column-separators" to cyan, CS/HI to yellow, CS/BL to blue, and CS/BL/HI to pink. On a 3489 (maybe a 3488, too), and on most emulators, you can alter the palette at will.

<shameless plug> The emulator we include in our ThinView and Wintouch products defaults to 132-column full-color, and it has the ability to hyperlink to GIF, JPEG and PNG graphics, and to put up any GIF, JPEG, or PNG as a background.</shameless plug>
