It depends on you mixture of work load. Interactive jobs, printing jobs, server jobs, and batch job. I like to separate all of them into separate memory pools. *interactive, *spool, *shrpool1, *shrpool2 Do you have other specialty application such as Domino? If so, put that into it's own memory pool. We also separate the programmers into their own memory pool for batch work since we do not do LPAR, yet.
