Then they made short dongles for hooded to std female connector. Should be able to find something at you local PC supply store. I think I have one around here somewhere. I used to have a power strip plugged into mine so when I turned off the computer, the monitor, printer and speakers all went off. I could mail it to you next week if you don't find something local.
