When a web page (ADO/.asp) connects to the iSeries server using iSeries Access ODBC, a SQL package is created due to the connection using extended dynamic SQL. The package is given a default name, since we are using the following connection string: Db.Open "Driver=iSeries Access ODBC Driver; System=servername; UID=username; PWD=password; XDYNAMIC=1; DFTPKGLIB=XSPPKG; PKG=XSPPKG/DEFAULT(IBM),2,0,1,0,512;" I would like to assign a specific, unique name to the package for a particular asp page, but cannot get the engine to create a new package with a new name, for example: Db.Open "Driver=iSeries Access ODBC Driver; System=servername; UID=username; PWD=password; XDYNAMIC=1; DFTPKGLIB=XSPPKG; PKG=XSPPKG/mysqlpkg(IBM),2,0,1,0,512;" Can anyone tell me if and how this can be done?
