Even thought it has no spool files (as shown by your option 8 attempt) it says it is in OUTQ status. Try this ENDJOB JOB(540321/PVIDAL/CWITPV1) OPTION(*IMMED) SPLFILE(*YES) There are actually jobs that retain the same job name, user and job number EVEN across IPL's and I have to use the above command to reset them. A bulk of those jobs are the recipients of a SNDNETSPLF from another system. The hard thing is that kind of job is the one most affected by the SPLFILE(*YES) option. I've had some of these abort because of the maximum number of spool files per job. Which IBM upped in some version of OS/400. Rob Berendt
