The system default for printer files is single sided. Sounds like your prev OS someone had changed the printer files shipped with a release (like qsysprt & qprint) with CHGPRTF. If this is what was done, you should consider creating a dup object of these objects (with the changes) to a lib higher in libl that where they currently reside, or insert into your customized IPL startup pgm the CHGPRTF. Anything else customized at prev release?
