I've been the only programmer for this company for the past 17 years.

But to answer your question my TERMINAL and PC will both be exempt from the
HLDCMNDEV. And if for some reason both were broken I could always access the
400 with a straight in TCP/IP connection. In such cases the 400 creates a
unique device name and then removes it when the connection is terminated.

I've already created the program and tested it... pretty sweet!
