I would say that as long as you are not having a problem, and especially
since this PTF has a fix and you have it installed, I would simply
ignore the bad ptf.  You have done all you should do, imo.

Since the "old" PTF was installed perm by the PTF process (I know I 
didn't do it), and since I IPL from the 'B' side (except under duress), 
just want to be sure that the fix (MF35014) will take precedence (or 
whatever) over the old, perm PTF (MF34708).

The reason for the defect was something along the lines of "degraded 
performance," and as best I can tell we're humming right along.  So 
there doesn't appear to be a problem.  Just checking, though.
