Ahh, there's nothing quite like getting back from COMMON on Friday and then
immediately doing a V5R1 to V5R3 upgrade that weekend. Aside from the
CD-ROM drive dying in the middle of it, things went pretty well. Now we're
dealing with the fallout.

One of the items is a file transfer from the iSeries to a PC where it gets
processed to print bar-code labels. The file contains several dates (data
type DATE) that used to transfer and end up in the PC in the format YYMMDD.
Now the transfer fails. If we do a file transfer from a 5250 session in
the USA format the transfer works but we get it in the format CCYYMMDD
which the PC software doesn't like. In the "old DOS days" I used to know
what the DOS command to do the transfer was and what the parameters for it
were. Can anybody tell me what the command is or offer any advice on
formatting the date fields? Thanks.
