The "right" thing to do with those characters depends on where you're
displaying the output. Since 5250 is block-based not character-based
there isn't really a concept of Carriage Return/Line Feed (CRLF). The
DSPMSG command "knows" to start a new line when it sees &N and indent it
w/&P, etc. If you want to display your own message you need to handle
that yourself.
