Can't completely answer the question, but maybe a little.I ran WRKDIRE and then did a WRKUSRJOB on it from another session. Found that there were 3-4 logicals accessed by the program. Tracking backwards found that these pointed to a physical name QAOKP01A in QUSRSYS. Viewed that PF to be sure that it matched my perceived definitions - it did.
So, since the attributes of WRKDIRE appear to reside in a PF and in QUSRSYS the SAVSYS would definitely suck them on to the tape (or whatever). It would seem that a restore of QUSRSYS would get them back.
