COMMON, in fact, works closely with IBM's PIE initiative, which has been in existence for several years. The COMMON Education Foundation (http://www.common.org/foundation/) in fact funds scholarships that pay registration costs for some of the instructors and admins at those schools.
The Foundation, also, funds scholarships to students enrolled full-time. 
Cash is always in good taste.
